David Robertson, Minister of St Peter's Free Church of Scotland, Dundee,
wanted an intelligent Christian response to Richard Dawkins' book 'The God Delusion'.
When it became obvious that no one was really going to answer the real issues, David Robertson wrote an open letter to Richard Dawkins on his church website - which found its way into Richard Dawkins website, generating the largest response of any posting on that site.
This spurred David on to write this book, which, drawing on David's experience as a debater, letter writer, pastor and author, assists Christians in knowing where Dawkins is weak and how to explain things better!
The book agrees with Dawkins where appropiate but does not hesitate to point out where thinking does not hold together.
