Crossline is a Christian organisation which
aims to practise Christian care and concern through a confidential
helpline and counselling services, seeking to help people towards
constructive change and growth in one or more aspects of their life,
and endeavour to make their services available to all sections
of the community without partiality of any kind.
The Crossline service is an extension of the
work of the local church in the community and operates within the wider
framework of voluntary and statutory agencies.

Christian Counselling Courses
This project has been set up to promote and facilitate
the healing of the effects of life's wounds in adults and children in
Scotland and beyond to enable them to cope more effectively with problems
of living, inner conflict, crippling emotions, interpersonal tensions
and self-defeating life patterns that they may maximise their potential.
To achieve this the aim is, among other things to facilitate the training
of counsellors and skilled helpers within the caring environment in
Scotland. Applications are now being taken for a Level 1 course, dates
for which will be decided once enough people have expressed interest
(beginning of 2006). There are are also plans to commence a recognised
and accredited Level 2 Certificate Course in Christian Counselling,
using a course designed by Barnabas Training Consortium, aimed at anyone
who is interested in counselling at a professional level. Other courses
planned are for Pastoral Care and Children's Counselling.
