God is moving His people to pray like never before. Prayer
Week has grown from the grass roots upwards, starting 5 years ago in North
Wales with just 2 churches and now encompassing simply thousands of churches
all over the UK and now into over 50 nations of the world.
Prayer Week is a vision of:
‘Christian standing with Christian
Church standing with Church
Nation standing with Nation’
Why not join in prayer next May:
your prayer group
your church
or churches in your town
or even perhaps your entire region.
Go prayer walking, do prayer teaching, encourage children and youth to
get together to pray. Have a prayer picnic and invite your entire village,
go on a prayer drive, hold a prayer conference, hold a prayer surgery
and offer prayer to people in your town and believe for God to heal, restore,
and impact lives. All of these ideas have been used to encourage others
to pray, during previous prayer weeks across the nations.
Stand together and pray for a great transformation in the land of Scotland
- may the peoples of the Land of the Book once again be filled with the
desire to spread His Word in our own land and to shores beyond.

Global Day of Prayer
15th May 2005
Following the example of the first followers who "joined
together constantly" in prayer (Acts 1.14) during the ten days between
the ascent of Jesus and the descent of His Spirit on Pentecost, believers
will be organizing ways to pray together night and day beginning Friday,
6 May, (Ten Days of Prayer toward a Greater Pentecost) through the end
of Pentecost Sunday, 15 May, 2005.
