Operating a broadcasting station costs money!
A substantial part of the costs are given over to licences.
Two licences are required from government bodies which permit us to
radiate a radio signal and to broadcast over the airwaves.
Further licences are required to enable us to play the many copyrighted
music CD's we use during broadcasts.
Then, of course, we have costs associated with our broadcasting
equipment and standard office costs such as rent and telephone.
So how does Revival Radio fund these costs?
We do receive a small amount of income from advertising
and sponsorship when the station
in on air. So, if you are a businessman who would like
some exposure for your business when we are on air, why not contact
us to discuss our advertising and sponsorship rates?
Most of our income is from donations from supporters
and other individuals. When such income is from
a taxpayer we can also enjoy a small donation from the taxman through
the Gift Aid scheme. So, if you are a taxpayer
and would like to help Revival Radio, why not contact
us for further information about Gift Aid, or click
here to download the Gift Aid declaration or look
here for further information about Gift Aid.
Of course having an inside route to information about
Revival Radio is an important way of knowing the stations needs -
and you can have this route by joining The 106 Club, Revival
Radio's support club. You can find more information
about the 106 club here or download
the membership application form here.
From time to time Revival Radio plans specific projects
related to the operation of the station, such as studio or equipment
enhancements. We appreciate sponsorship of such projects.
If you are a businessman who would be interested in providing such
sponsorship, why not contact us
to discuss how your assistance might help us move our forward.
